The Structured Risk Specialty Practice focuses on non-traditional reinsurance solutions. We have built a solid reputation as an innovative provider of solutions, securing optimal terms and conditions on stop loss treaties, loss portfolio transfers and adverse development covers. The Structured Risk Specialty covers all product types, including structured quota shares, excess of loss programs and whole account or partial account stop losses. Our specialists also focus on multiyear structured property products and financial quota shares.

The Structured Risk Specialty individually tailors projects to meet various client needs. Our specialists stay abreast of developments in the accounting arena and the marketplace and provide state-of-the-art solutions that comply with accounting and regulatory standards. We have developed risk transfer testing models that compare and contrast the balance sheet impact of quota shares and surplus notes (QSTN) as well as templates for evaluating the impact of a structured reinsurance transaction on a ceding company's financial statements.
